 Hello Friend! Welcome to our blog. Today's  recipe for  Ganesh Chaturthi's Special "Modak". This is a Maharastrian recipe Do try this recipe and share our blog and comment  in the comment section down below.

 For this we require 1 cup rice flour 100 gm jaggery 100 gm jaggery 1 tsp salt 2 tsp poppy seeds 8-10 cashew 10-12 Raisins 1/2 tsp cardamom powder 1 glass water In a pan add water and allow it boil add water from the same bowl from which you have taken rice flour add 1 tsp salt and 1 tbsp ghee in it cover it and allow it to boil after 2 min you will see water starts to boil add rice flour in it mix it well turn off the gas flame now cover it and allow it to cook on steam after it cool down add in a kneading plate since it is hot knead it with the help of spoon first and them take little ghee in your hand and knead with the help of hand knead and soft and smooth dough dough is ready now.
 Now we will prepare stuffing for that now heat a pan in a pan now roast poppy seeds for 1-2 min on medium flame when it turns brown take it out add Jaggery in it and allow it to melt in 1-2 min it will start to melt keep stirring it so that it don't stick when it starts to melt add grated coconut in it and mix it well cut cashews into small pieces add cashew, raisins and roasted poppy seeds in it mix it well add cardamom powder in it mix it well turnoff the gas flame take them out take a dough and spread it from the corners add stuffing in it now from the corners makes small petals from it make 6-7 petals out of it now join all the petals together now we have given shape to the modak .
